Transparent Energy Procurement for Commercial and Industrial Customers

Interval Markets provides a structured, professionally managed procurement process for businesses in the Australian National Electricity Market. Our remuneration is disclosed upfront and does not vary depending on which retailer you choose.

Who We Are

Interval Markets is an Australian energy procurement business built to give commercial and industrial customers a clearer, more efficient way to go to market.

We manage the end-to-end procurement process — from data collection and tender distribution through to offer comparison and handover — so that customers can make informed decisions with confidence.

Why We Exist

Energy procurement can be difficult for customers to navigate. Remuneration structures are not always disclosed. Tender processes vary widely. And comparison frameworks are often inconsistent, making it hard to evaluate offers on a like-for-like basis.

For many businesses, the result is uncertainty — about who is being paid what, how offers are being compared, and whether the process is genuinely working in their interest.

Interval Markets was built to address this. We provide a procurement process where the structure, documentation and remuneration are all clear from the outset.

How We Are Paid

If you proceed with a retailer through our procurement process, Interval Markets receives a fixed fee of $1.00 per MWh from the retailer chosen by you.

This fee is disclosed to you before we begin. It does not vary depending on which retailer you select, and it is paid by the retailer — not invoiced separately to you.

This structure is designed to support transparency and reduce potential conflicts. Because our remuneration is the same regardless of which retailer wins your business, the process is focused on finding the right outcome for you — not on directing you towards a particular offer.

We believe customers should always know how their procurement adviser is being paid. That starts with making remuneration simple, consistent and visible.

What Makes Us Different

Transparent Remuneration

Our fee is fixed, disclosed upfront and does not vary by retailer. You always know how we are paid.

Structured Procurement

Every tender follows a consistent process with standardised documentation, clear timelines and comparable offer formats.

Simple Customer Experience

We handle data collection, retailer communication and offer comparison. You stay informed and make the final decision.

Single-Site and Multi-Site

Whether you have one site or a portfolio of locations, the process scales to suit your needs with site-level analysis and combined reporting.

How It Works

1

Authority and Data Collection

You provide consent and we collect your interval metering data and site details. All authority documentation is clear and professionally managed.

2

Tender to Selected Retailers

We distribute a structured tender package to retailers suited to your load profile and requirements, with consistent commercial terms.

3

Offer Comparison

Retailer responses are compiled into a clear tender summary so you can compare offers on a consistent, like-for-like basis.

4

Customer Selection and Handover

You select the offer that best suits your needs. We manage the documentation and handover to the retailer's onboarding team.

Who We Work With

Interval Markets is designed for commercial and industrial customers in the Australian National Electricity Market, typically consuming between 100 MWh and 10 GWh annually.

We work with both single-site businesses and multi-site portfolios. Whether you operate one warehouse or a network of retail locations, the process is built to handle your requirements with consistent documentation and analysis across all sites.

Our customers are typically businesses where energy is a meaningful cost, but where maintaining a dedicated energy procurement function is not practical.
